We understand that plans can change and want our guests to feel confident when booking with us. Please review the following policy carefully before completing your reservation.
● Reservations canceled with 24 hours or more notice are eligible for a refund of the reservation amount less any booking and credit card processing fees.
● Booking and processing fees are non-refundable and typically total up to 10% of the reservation cost, depending on the booking method and platform.
● Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
● Equipment, staff, and launch logistics are reserved in advance.
● Guided tours are limited in availability and require advance staffing.
● Guided tours canceled with 24 hours or more notice are eligible for a refund less booking and credit card processing fees.
● Guided tours canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
● Guests who arrive after the scheduled start time may be unable to participate and will be considered no-shows, with no refund.
● If a guided tour does not meet minimum guest requirements, we reserve the right to reschedule the tour or issue a refund under the Weather, Tide & Water Conditions policy.
● Unguided rentals are self-directed experiences.
● Guests are responsible for their own navigation, pace, and decision-making while on the water.
● Rentals are considered fulfilled once equipment has been issued.
● Early returns, voluntary cancellations, or choosing not to launch after equipment has been issued are not eligible for refunds.
● Water conditions such as tides, currents, wind, and weather may vary and affect difficulty or comfort.
● Conditions that are safe but challenging do not qualify for cancellation or refund.
● Choosing not to participate due to personal comfort or perceived conditions is considered a voluntary cancellation.
● If conditions are determined to be unsafe, the rental will be treated as a weather-related cancellation.
● Guest safety is our top priority.
● Kayaking conditions in coastal and bay waters are affected by weather, tides, and currents.
● Unsafe conditions may include, but are not limited to:
○ Lightning
○ Strong winds
○ Severe storms
○ Hazardous water conditions
○ Strong or fast-moving currents
○ Extreme low or high tides
● Unsafe conditions may result in delayed launches, route modifications, or cancellation of an experience.
If we determine that weather, tide, or water conditions are unsafe, guests may choose one of the following options:
● Weather, tide, and water-condition assessments may be made at the launch site on the day of the reservation.
● All safety, weather, tide, and water-related decisions are final.
● Light rain or brief warm-weather showers do not automatically result in cancellation.
● Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation or arrive after the scheduled start time without prior notice are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund.
● This policy applies to all reservations, including those booked through third-party platforms.
● Any service, booking, or processing fees charged by booking platforms are non-refundable.
