Terms & Conditions

Cancellation & Weather Policy

We understand that plans can change and want our guests to feel confident when booking with us. Please review the following policy carefully before completing your reservation.

Standard Cancellations

Reservations canceled with 24 hours or more notice are eligible for a refund of the reservation amount less any booking and credit card processing fees.
Booking and credit card processing fees are non-refundable and typically total up to 10% of the reservation cost, depending on the booking method and platform.

Cancellations Within 24 Hours

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable, as equipment, staff, and launch logistics are reserved in advance.

Guided Tours

Guided tours are limited in availability and require advance staffing.
• Guided tours canceled with 24 hours or more notice are eligible for a refund less any booking and credit card processing fees.
• Guided tours canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
• Guests who arrive after the scheduled start time may be unable to participate and will be considered no-shows, with no refund.
• If a guided tour does not meet minimum guest requirements, we reserve the right to reschedule the tour or issue a refund in accordance with the Weather-Related Cancellations section below.

Unguided Kayak Rentals

Unguided kayak rentals are self-directed experiences. By booking an unguided rental, guests acknowledge that they are responsible for their own navigation, pace, and decision-making while on the water.
• Unguided rentals are considered fulfilled once equipment has been issued.
• Early returns, voluntary cancellations, or choosing not to launch after equipment has been issued are not eligible for refunds.
• Water conditions, including tides, currents, wind, and weather, may vary and affect difficulty or comfort. Conditions that are safe but challenging do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
• If a guest chooses not to participate due to personal comfort level or perceived conditions, the rental is considered a voluntary cancellation.

If we determine that conditions are unsafe, the rental will be treated as a weather-related cancellation in accordance with the section below.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Guest safety is our top priority. If conditions are deemed unsafe—including but not limited to lightning, strong winds, severe storms, or hazardous water conditions—we may suspend or cancel operations at our sole discretion.

Tides & Water Conditions

Kayaking conditions in coastal and bay waters are affected by tides and currents. Strong or unsafe tides, fast-moving currents, extreme low or high tides, or other water conditions that create safety concerns may result in delayed launches, route modifications, or cancellation of an experience.

If we determine that tidal or water conditions are unsafe, guests may reschedule, receive a gift certificate, or receive a refund less any booking and credit card processing fees.
All safety, tide, and weather-related decisions are final.

Light rain or brief warm-weather showers do not automatically result in cancellation.

No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation or arrive after the scheduled start time without prior notice are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund.

Booking Platform Notice

This policy applies to all reservations, including those booked through third-party platforms. Any service, booking, or processing fees charged by booking platforms are non-refundable.

By completing a booking, guests acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation & Weather Policy.
